When it comes to enjoying your candles, there are a few important guidelines to follow to ensure that both you, your pets, and your belongings are safe.

• Keep your candle away from direct sunlight to prevent the essential oils from yellowing the wax.
• Keep the lid on your candle vessel to maintain the fragrance throw throughout its lifespan.
• When lighting your candle for the first time, it is crucial to burn it for at least 2 1/2 hours to ensure that tunneling does not occur.
• Trim your candle before first use to a quarter of an inch as a longer wick will create a bigger flame, which could heat the wax too fast and could be a fire hazard.
• As you continue to use your candle, remember to trim the wick to a quarter of an inch before each use to avoid soot buildup and potential fire hazards.
• It is also important never to burn your candle near flammable items or for longer than four hours at a time to prevent accidents and unwanted damage.
• Always burn within sight, and take care and caution, when deciding where to place this vessel, during burning time.

At the end of the candle, follow these steps to remove the wax and proceed to use the vessel as an accessory:

• First placed the vessel in the freezer for a couple of hours, and the wax should shrink slightly. This should allow you to remove the majority of the wax.
• Use a wooden spoon to remove the remaining wax.
• Using soap and water is preferable to further clean and we do not recommend using any solvents or abrasive cleaning tools. Warm water will soften the leftover wax and a disposable paper towel should be used to wipe down the vessel, thoroughly.
• Always prioritize safety when enjoying your candles.
